Miners Dollars

Pyrite is a very common mineral, but there is one kind of Pyrite which is very rare. The Pyrite Dollar or the Pyrite Sun or better yet the Miners Dollar. They are found in an old coal mine, a hundred meters under the surface of Sparta Illinois. But they can hardly be found anymore, and without any new mining operations, the chances are small that they will be found again.

We have two and we think they look great as a pair on their handmade steel stands. Yes, we only sell them as a pair, sorry.
