Crested Porcupine Spines
€179.00 €169.00
Ever seen a Leopard with a face full of Porcupine Spines? Funny right? These Rodents are slow and quite bulky but they are armed to the teeth. A fully grown Porcupine can have up to 30.000 spines on his back and butt. First they rattle them, to scare off a predator, but if that doesn’t work, they attack, butt first. Of course the do get eaten sometimes but then we get to see some great footage on National Geographic, of a silly looking Leopard!
These Spines were collected in Africa and we arranged nine of them on a Gorgeous brass plate.
